McCall Wines will now offer its own organic Charolais grass-fed beef for sale in its Cutchogue tasting room.
Steaks are $20 per pound and ground beef is $10 per pound. There is a limit of two pieces per customer.
The North Fork Food Truck will also be stopping by the Main Road winery on Fridays from 4 to 7 p.m. through July. The truck will sell McCall’s burgers.
To pair with burger, the winery will offer $5 glasses of merlot.
In other news, McCall Wines is coming down from a very exciting year, both being named 2013 Winery of the Year by the New York Wine & Grape Foundation, and hosting more than 1,200 food and wine lovers at the Cutchogue vineyard in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Long Island Wine Country last August.
“We are in a very good place,” Brewster McCall said of the family business to the New York Cork Report earlier this month. “We have room to grow in both production and quality, a metropolis nearby with a growing farm to table movement, and more great wines being produced every year,” he said.
McCall Wines is owned by his father, Russell, who also founded a wine and spirits distribution company in Atlanta, where Brewster first learned the trade.
