One of the most amazing things about the North Fork is all of its delicious restaurants.
And even though we are in the middle of a pandemic and the weather is cooling down, many places are finding safe and comfortable ways to have outdoor seating.

aMano
In a completely covered tent, aMano’s outdoor patio adds some extra seating along with a massive heating lamp to warm up the whole space.

American Beech
Recently installed ‘casitas’ on the patio bring cozy to a new level. Cute and warm, these mini-greenhouses make you feel like you’re outside without having to deal with any weather changes.

A Lure

A Lure’s waterside tent covers the deck and spacious seating area, but don’t worry. Clear paneling on the sides of the tent protect you from the elements while still keeping those water views unobstructed. Massive heat lamps line the aisle in between the two rows of fancy picnic table style seating to keep the warmth inside.

Andy’s

In a cozy, covered outdoor tent, Andy’s in Greenport brings all the fall vibes with mums, twinkly lights and comfy seating. And you won’t be missing out on any big games either — they have a television out there too.

Barrow Food House

Around the corner from the parking lot at Barrow Food House is a line of picnic tables protected by a clear covering. To cozy it up, each table has a heated lamp overtop and harvest themed decorations line the back wall. Twinkly lights add a touch of warmth.

Claudio’s

These massive igloos provide all the privacy and safety you need while still giving you waterfront views. Inside, the living room-sized space has couches, chairs and tables — perfect for munching and sipping off the beer garden menu.

Farm Country Kitchen
Farm Country Kitchen’s quaint outdoor covered seating area gives off French bistro vibes. Clear panels act as little windows to let in natural light and a heat lamp in the middle with a little fire makes the space feel intimate but still socially distant.

Love Lane Kitchen
Although LLK’s indoor seating might be closed, its outdoor seating is just as cozy. Twinkly lights and heat lamps surround the tented patio and make for a warm and romantic setting. Order your food at the front door, find a seat and wait for the text notifying you that it’s ready.

Olive Branch

We already know the patio at this Medditeranean-Turkish restaurant brings the cozy vibes, but with these new enclosed mini-igloos, it can be enjoyed long into the fall. Each one perfectly fits around the outdoor tables to protect you from the wind and rain.

PORT
In a bright and sunny yellow and white tent, PORT Waterfront Bar and Grill’s covered seating almost brings you right back to summer. The sides let in the sunlight with clear paneling and greenery surrounds each table and hangs from the top of the tent.

Ram’s Head Inn

Over on Shelter Island, the Ram’s Head Inn has added five heated outdoor dining igloos spread out along the lawn. Each one can accommodate four to six people and comes outfitted with blankets, heaters and twinkle lights. Igloos can be reserved ahead of time at no additional fee or used by walk-in parties.

Shelter Island Seafood
This new seafood destination on Shelter Island has made some big waves. And now, as the chill of autumn moves in, plans to enclose their covered patio complete with heating should be done by this weekend.

Windamere

This place may be the new spot in town, but it’s bringing major cozy vibes to the waterfront setting. The huge patio is covered in a heated tent and, with live music through the whole weekend, this is a great spot to hunker down and enjoy some tunes.
